Chakra Yoga Series

Move your body and channel your energy with the 7 primary chakras, which are powerful energetic centers that impact your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.

In this 8-week series, you’ll learn how to work with the chakras through asana (physical practice) to support a healthy, balanced flow of your energy, which can bring you closer to inner contentment and peace.

Although you'll gain the fullest understanding by attending all 8 weeks, you'll also receive a lot of value from joining any of the classes.

What we’ll do each week:

  • Learn all about 1 primary chakra (its properties and impact) through a short, engaging lecture.

  • Move through an all-levels physical practice that activates that chakra.

  • Turn inward with a guided meditation and reflection on how that chakra’s energy is showing up in your body, mind and heart, and how you can support yourself to go even deeper.

  • Saturday, Feb. 21: Ajna (Third Eye) Chakra

To maximize this series impact, I'm creating videos of each week's content, where I guide you through everything from the in-person class (chakra education, all-levels physical practice, guided meditation and reflection).

The videos will give you the knowledge and tools you need to continue your chakra exploration. They'll be yours forever to return to over and over again.

Cancellations & refunds:

Drop-In purchases are final and nonrefundable. If you can't attend the class you purchased, I'll provide you a credit for one of the remaining classes in the series. If a special circumstance prevents you from attending any remaining classes, please reach out to discuss a refund option.

Full Series and Half Series purchases are final and nonrefundable. You will receive the weekly instructor videos of class content if you're unable to attend the in-person class.

Metered street parking is free on the weekends. Free 2-hour parking is also provided in the following city-owned parking decks:

The City of Raleigh Museum is on Fayetteville Street next to The Big Easy. Look for a tall red brick building with "CORMuseum" on a black awning. Enter the lobby through the front door, find the elevator to the left, and take it to the basement (B) floor. We’re in the room to the right.

What to wear and bring:

Wear comfortable, breathable clothing, and consider layers. Our space will be room-temperature, but you'll build some heat in our physical practice.

Bring your yoga mat, a personal water bottle and any props you'd like to use (towel, bolster, strap). Blocks will be provided. Bathrooms and a kitchen to fill your water bottle are available.
