July 8-12, 2026 | Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina
The Divine Duality Retreat will further your journey to lasting, sustainable self-love and inner peace by expanding your capacity to understand and harmonize the opposite energies that exist in you ~ the feminine and masculine, lunar and solar, light and dark, active and dormant.
The union of dual energies is embedded in yoga philosophy and a key to unlocking one’s highest self.
Through experiences that engage your body, mind, heart and soul, you will learn and practice tools to explore and love the wholeness of you.
Surrounded by the lush Blue Ridge Mountains that encompass the richness of nature, and held by a welcoming community of fellow yogis, you will leave with a deeper connection to and stronger embodiment of your highest, most divine self.
You crave space and time that's solely for you.
You respect and appreciate the practice of yoga. (Beginners are welcome here!)
You have an active inner critic that often judges, suppresses or shames natural parts of yourself.
You seek to feel fulfilled, aligned and content in all areas of your life.

YES! I designed this retreat with beginners in mind. It's an easily drivable distance from central NC, held at a beautiful center we'll have all to ourselves, with a balance of guided activities and free time for yourself.
If you have any specific questions not covered here, drop me a message below!
I'm a beginner to yoga. Is this retreat for me?
YES! Not only are the practices and sessions optional, but I will ensure they are beginner-friendly with lots of options and support to meet you where you are. The center provides great props that will make everything we do accessible.
Plus, attending a yoga retreat is an amazing opportunity to become more familiar with all the parts of yoga and deepen your own practice. You'll return home no longer a beginner!
What will the schedule be like?
You'll receive a rough itinerary before the retreat, but generally, our days will start with a morning yoga practice, followed by brunch and group activities during the day (like outdoor adventures, yoga learning sessions and free time).
We'll all regroup for dinner and end most days with a restorative evening yoga practice or other restful activity.
Do I need to participate in everything?
No! Everything planned is optional, but the group activities while we're at the center are encouraged to really get the most out of the retreat experience.
There will be blocks of free time each day for you to enjoy by yourself or with others, like exploring the center's 22-acre property, driving into nearby Blowing Rock, or cuddling up with a good book.
What if I can't attend for the whole time?
To get the most out of the retreat, I strongly encourage you to attend for the full time. Arrival on Wednesday (between 5-6 pm) and departure on Sunday (between 10-11 am) are flexible if needed.
What should I bring?
I'll provide a detailed packing list before the retreat, but it'll include clothing for activity (yoga, hiking), clothing for lounging/sleep, toiletries, and good walking shoes. You won't need much else!
How do I get there? Where should I park?
Moon Rising Retreat is about a 3.5 hr drive from central Raleigh. It's easily navigable by GPS, but if you have any issues finding it, you'll have my contact info for support.
Parking is available right next to the center's walkway.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payments will be handled through WeTravel, which accepts the following:
Bank transfer (ACH direct deposit)
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club, UnionPay (will include a credit card processing fee)
Wire Transfer (will include a $30 wire transfer fee)
Cards process instantly while bank transfers take 3-7 business days.
WeTravel charges a small transaction fee on each payment.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes! Through WeTravel, you can pay a $350 deposit at booking, and then pay the remaining amount in spring 2026. You'll see your payment plan details on WeTravel when you book.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Since space is limited, I strongly encourage you to book only if you’re very confident you’ll be able to join!
If life happens and you can no longer attend, please contact me as soon as possible to discuss your options.
The $350 deposit is non-refundable, but it is transferable to one of the next 2 Embodied Yoga retreats offered.
If you cancel in writing 90 days or more before our trip (by April 8, 2026), you’ll receive a 100% refund of any payments you made beyond the $350 non-refundable deposit.
If you cancel in writing 45 days or more before our trip (by May 24, 2026), you’ll receive a 50% refund of any payments you made beyond the $350 non-refundable deposit.
If you cancel less than 45 days before our trip, there will not be a refund of any payments you made beyond the $350 non-refundable deposit.
If you anticipate you might need a deposit or full payment refund, I recommend trip insurance to provide extra coverage. There are lots of options you can easily find and compare online.

Meet Your Facilitator, Elizabeth
Hi there! I'm a Yoga Alliance-certified registered yoga teacher (RYT-200) who has worked with the Raleigh community since May 2022.
With 500+ classes under my belt, I embrace each student where they are and love guiding people of all ages and backgrounds.
I firmly believe in the holistic, authentic practice of yoga. More than a physical activity, yoga is a way of moving through life that guides you closer to true contentment and inner peace, especially in a world that presents challenges and barriers.
A yoga retreat is a powerful space to go deeper into your own practice, more than a 60-minute class could ever provide.
That's why I'm hosting this retreat, and why I'm so excited to share with others what I've learned through my own studies and life experiences.
Let's leverage the power of yoga together to go inward and return as more embodied versions of our true selves.
