Yoga in the Woods: Slow Flow to Yin

Settle your nervous system and ease into deep stretching in this 60-minute slow flow & yin yoga practice. Meant for all levels of students, you'll be empowered to choose options that are best for you and your body.

We start class with gentle, slow movement to engage and warm up your muscles. Midway through, we transition to active stretching postures held for several minutes to deepen your flexibility and mobility.

You'll leave feeling physically grounded and mentally and emotionally soothed. It's a great way to meet other local yogis, too.

What to bring: Yoga mat, blanket, water, and any props you'd like to use (blocks, strap, bolster/pillow).

Please note: There are no bathrooms.

How to get there: Put "Brookhaven Nature Park" in your GPS. Typing the street address on Google Maps has taken people to the wrong place before.

Where to park: You'll drive through a quiet neighborhood until you reach a small looped parking lot where the Brookhaven sign is.

Where to go: Look for the accessibility parking spot, and go to the left. We'll practice on the wooden deck that's straight ahead.

If it rains: I'll send an email to cancel class. You'll receive a "rain check" one-class credit for a future class. If you're unable to make a future class, a refund can be provided.
